Source Rejects Claims of Iranian Drone Attack on Kuwait Airport

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – A military source dismissed US and Kuwaiti claims that an Iranian drone struck a civilian airport in Kuwait, describing the images circulated in support of the allegation as a fabricated scene.

Speaking to Tasnim, the informed military source reacted to the publication of photographs from Kuwait Airport that allegedly show an Iranian drone hitting the facility.

“These images are a false staging by the enemy,” the source stressed.

He explained that drones launched by the IRGC Aerospace Force toward US targets in Kuwait were fired around midnight and their impacts also occurred around midnight, in darkness.

“Meanwhile, in the alleged video and photographs released of the drone at the airport, the weather is completely bright and the images clearly relate to daytime,” he said.

The military source further emphasized that the target of the IRGC Aerospace Force's drones was located more than 40 kilometers away from Kuwait Airport.

“This also shows that the impact at Kuwait Airport has no connection whatsoever to Iran’s drones,” the source added.
