“In the last few days and hours of negotiations on the text of the MoU, some changes have been made to the previous texts,” the informed source told the Tasnim news agency.
Some issues related to the management of the strategic Strait of Hormuz were among the last changes made in the text of memorandum, the source noted, adding that changes were made at the suggestion of Iran.
This informed source added that guaranteeing the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Lebanon was also one of the issues that was added to the text in the last hours.
He said the issue played an important role in Iran’s definitive decision not to respond to Israel's military aggression on the suburbs of Beirut.
The source said the phrase was also considered a concession for Lebanon.
