The IRGC announced in a statement on Friday that the retaliatory operation was conducted in continuation of Iran’s response operations against US targets.

According to the statement, the IRGC Navy launched the 13th wave of Operation Nasr-2 at dawn on Friday, dedicating the operation to the people of Iran’s provinces of Khuzestan, Bushehr, Hormozgan, and Sistan and Baluchestan.

The IRGC said its naval forces targeted and destroyed a maritime control radar located on Salamah rocks as well as a US air control radar stationed in Oman’s Al-Ghanam region.

The statement stressed that retaliatory operations would continue with determination, adding that, by the grace of God, the Strait of Hormuz remains under the control of the IRGC Navy’s brave sailors.
