The “Ruqayyah Is Not Alone” event was held on July 20 at the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS) in Mashhad, with the participation of women pilgrims from Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Oman and Arab-speaking communities residing in Iran.

The ceremony aimed to commemorate Hazrat Ruqayyah (SA), the young daughter of Imam Hussein (AS), and highlight the connection between the message of Ashura and the sacrifice, suffering and resistance of martyred girls and women of the Resistance Front, particularly schoolgirl martyrs from Iran, Lebanon and other regions.

During the event, a Lebanese speaker referred to the status of Hazrat Ruqayyah (SA) in Ashura culture, emphasizing the role of women and girls in preserving the values of resistance and conveying the message of Karbala.

The program also featured religious chants, eulogies and poetry recitations performed by female participants.

A highlight of the ceremony was the presence of attendants from the holy shrines of Hazrat Zaynab (SA) and Hazrat Ruqayyah (SA), who carried a blessed flag from the dome of the Shrine of Hazrat Zaynab (SA), symbolizing unity and solidarity among followers of Ahl al-Bayt (AS) in different countries.

The event concluded with an emphasis on continuing the path of Hazrat Ruqayyah (SA) in defending religious and human values and honoring the memory of girl martyrs of the Resistance Front.
