Speaking about the US' recent actions in the region, Major General Ali Abdollahi said on Saturday that the US is accelerating its pursuit of "a path of widespread warmongering in the regional war."
He described the approach as the outcome of "a dangerous strategy aimed at expansion and illegitimate domination across the entire region."
The commander said the "criminal America" had demonstrated during the recent war against Iran that, in pursuit of its "evil objectives and goals," it would refrain from no act of malice or destruction against the interests and resources of Muslim nations.
Abdollahi further said Muslim countries in the region should recognize that the US is exploiting their capital, wealth, vital infrastructure, and strategic resources as "a defensive shield for its worn-out army," while simultaneously strengthening the military machine and security of the "child-killing and terrorist Zionist regime."
The commander said Iran has proved that the regional balance of power no longer follows its previous dynamics.
He argued that the US' failure to achieve its aggressive and illegitimate objectives against Iran has forced the "dilapidated US army" and the "fake Zionist regime" to wage war, shed blood, and commit acts of aggression "from behind the trenches of Muslim countries," while shifting the costs of war onto regional governments.
Major General Abdollahi said Iran is making its position clear, declaring that Muslim countries "must act with foresight," closely monitor America's crimes, and reconsider any cooperation or alignment with Washington.
"Otherwise," he warned, "any country that turns itself into a defensive shield for the criminal and aggressor America will burn in the fire of war."
