Speaking to reporters on Wednesday about the status of the Army’s Air Defense capabilities in protecting the country’s skies, Elhami said Iran demonstrates in practice what capabilities it possesses and how they are being used.
“Today, the Air Defense of the Islamic Republic of Iran, both in the Army and the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps, is at 100-percent readiness and fully monitoring all borders, prepared to defend the country’s skies,” he said.
Elhami said the downing of the enemy’s strategic drones had demonstrated that Iran’s dedicated forces are fully committed to their duties and will continue serving until their last breath to safeguard the security of the country.
