Israeli Regime Drone Strikes on Khan Younis’ Al-Mawasi Leave 9 Injured

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Israeli regime drone strikes on the al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis in southern Gaza have injured at least nine Palestinians, as the regime continues to violate the Gaza ceasefire with attacks across the besieged territory.

The latest attack was reported Saturday by local Palestinian sources, while Palestinian health officials said the regime’s ongoing attacks have continued to inflict casualties across the Gaza Strip.

Over the past 48 hours, the Palestinian Health Ministry in Gaza said the bodies of 10 newly martyred Palestinians were transferred to hospitals across the territory, while 56 others were injured.

In a separate Israeli regime attack, Eman Shalouf, a 27-year-old Palestinian woman, and her seven-month-old fetus were martyred after she sustained severe injuries from Israeli occupation forces’ gunfire in southern Khan Younis in recent days.

The latest casualties come amid continued violations of the ceasefire that was established on October 11, 2025, with repeated Israeli regime airstrikes, artillery attacks and gunfire reported across Gaza.

Since the ceasefire took effect, 1,369 Palestinians have been martyred and another 4,627 injured, while the bodies of 831 martyrs have been recovered from under the rubble.

The al-Mawasi area in Khan Younis, which the Israeli regime had previously presented as a so-called “safe zone,” has repeatedly been subjected to drone and artillery attacks, further exposing the continuing violence against Palestinians despite the ceasefire.

According to the overall figures released by the Gaza Health Ministry, the death toll in the Gaza Strip since the Israeli genocidal war began in October 2023, has reached 73,783, while 174,738 Palestinians have been injured.

Meanwhile, reports indicate that Israeli regime airstrikes, artillery shelling and gunfire are continuing in various parts of the Gaza Strip, while rescue teams face severe restrictions in reaching Palestinians trapped beneath the rubble.
