In a post on his X account on Sunday night, Qalibaf said oil markets are pricing crude at a premium of $35 above levels before the US-Israeli war of aggression against Iran.
He argued that the market’s pricing contradicts Washington’s claims about Iran’s lack of control over the Strait of Hormuz.
“US gaslighting bureau says Iran doesn’t control SOH (Strait of Hormuz), but the market prices a big premium, $35 over pre-invasion and $50 using dated/actual,” he wrote.
“So either the market’s dumb or the US narrative-laundromat is faking it. Free-dollar vending machine in Hormuz for believers. Go grab it,” Qalibaf added.
