Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin held a meeting on the sidelines of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) leaders’ summit and a Caspian Sea environmental summit, held in Turkmenistan on Thursday night.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the achievements made in bilateral relations, focusing on bolstering economic and strategic cooperation in key sectors, including energy, agriculture, transportation, and trade.
They also stressed the need to accelerate the finalization and completion of joint projects, reaffirming their determination to expand comprehensive cooperation in line with the national interests of both countries and regional stability.
