Iran Army Spokesman Warns US against New Military Adventure

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Spokesman for the Iranian Army Brigadier General Mohammad Akraminia warned that any new US military adventurism in the region would widen the scope of war, stressing that Iran’s Armed Forces are continuously upgrading their combat readiness.

In a post on his X account on Saturday, Akraminia said the Iranian Army is closely monitoring US movements in the region and would not let Washington’s actions affect its efforts to strengthen military preparedness.

“Given the US president’s notorious record of betraying diplomacy, the Islamic Republic of Iran Army, without trusting or paying attention to the enemy’s actions, is relentlessly working to enhance its combat readiness,” he wrote.

“We are carefully monitoring US movements in the region,” the spokesman added.

“If the US president once again embarks on another adventure in the region through threats and inducements offered by the Zionists, the flames of war will undoubtedly engulf a wider geographical area, and its end will not be in his hands,” he warned.
