The top Iranian diplomat has been invited to the forum as a special guest.
Araqchi is scheduled to deliver a speech at the event on Saturday. He will also hold a meeting with Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, the prime minister and minister of foreign affairs of Qatar.
The forum, held in Doha on February 7-9, explores the extent of geopolitical shifts in the Middle East, based on the consequences of the Israeli war on Gaza and its pivotal role in reshaping the political scene in Syria. It also discusses regional and international power balances and their implications on the future of the region and international relations.
The theme of the 17th edition of the forum is “the Palestinian cause and the regional balance of power in the context of an emerging multipolar world”.
