In a message posted on his X account on Sunday night, Pezeshkian highlighted that recent negotiations with the US have involved the exchange of practical proposals and produced encouraging signals.

At the same time, he stressed that Iran remains vigilant regarding US activities in the region and has taken all necessary measures to ensure readiness for any developments.

“Iran is committed to peace and stability in the region. Recent negotiations involved the exchange of practical proposals and yielded encouraging signals. However, we continue to closely monitor US actions and have made all necessary preparations for any potential scenario,” the Iranian president said.

The third round of indirect nuclear negotiations between Iran and the United States is scheduled to take place in Geneva on Thursday, February 26.
